ADMISSIONS
AMTV animation is an art form that transcends time, culture
and technology. It is the art of motion, and art in motion.
It not only existed before cinema in locations all around
the world, but spans 20th century media, including film,
video and interactive computer graphics. It is positioned
to become the art form of the 21st century, as it is central
to a broad range of contemporary digital arts and communications
technologies, from special effects in feature films, to
DVD-ROMs, virtual reality, the Internet and World Wide
Web, installation and performance art and emerging forms
being pioneered by artists and animators internationally.
AMTV animation is an expanding field that has reached
out to encompass not only children's entertainment, but
also entertainment for all ages, professional communication
and personal expression. Any field that works with discrete
images changing in time must understand animation. Thus,
animation has emerged as a central element in the film,
television, telecommunications and multimedia industries
around the world.
